donno :cs maybe some one gonna do darkpsy hiphop release? :cs :bub :roll hahahaha, Infected already made their extremely ironic track "Converting Vegetarians" which you could say is hip hop with Psytrance effects, sounds and techniques. As well, the netrelease album Open it up, http://www.ektoplazm...

Re: ATTN: ALL artist

Just a couple of things I have to say here... Btw, these are my opinion and my opinion only. This is a forum for Dark Psytrance, not Fullon Psytrance. Most Dark Psytrance tends to be extreme, psychedelic and some of it may bring you *bad* or dark feelings. The intention here many times is either jus...

I f!@#ing love Magus. I wish he hadn't disappeared into obscurity or that Igneous Sauria had changed into making Club Trance.

What a shame...

for me all it needs is to know the matematics behind bpms like if u use a cd player with the pitch at 100% if u go 0,7 u go 1 bpm.. 0.7% only holds out until about 150 bpms, then it usually works best with 0.65% but 0.7% will do nicely if you remember to correct occasionally while the mix is live. ...

MIDI controllers with 14 bit pitch faders

I started DJ'ing in 2006 with a Gemini CD-240 Dual CD Player. I've also played on Dennons and Pioneer CDJ-100s, CDJ-200s and CDJ-400s. Needless to say I've used quite a lot of CD players. I switched over to mixing digitally, using Mixxx , over a year ago. I'll admit to using the detected BPMs as wel...

Madjester - Psycore-tech Breakdown

I play a regular slot on Renegade Radio, http://renegaderadio.co.uk, on Sundays.. This is an hour long snippet from my 2 hour set for April 10th. This set features Mixxx with beat looping, a new and upcoming feature. I used quite a few beat loop FX in this set, see if you can spot them ;) Playlist -...

PS: it's not cool that someone used this forum to post unauthorized links to tracks. This is not the place for that.

I kind of like the style. It's similar to how I produce tracks. A couple of hints: Add some glitchy or wierd down beat effects/sfx. have the synths with different versions that vary by the amount/type of effects on them over the course of the song. Maybe add a drum roll build or drop. Typically in d...

My usual progression tends to be to start off with lighter plain tunes at the lower bpm ranges (145-148), then I kick into a light poppy tune (penta, kindzadza, fungus funk) around the third track. At about the fourth or fifth track I tend to rev into something darker but more ambient, something alo...

I've heard that Goa Gil beatmatches by categorizing and repitching his songs to certain BPMs. So when he beatmatches all he is doing is syncing up two songs on DATs that have the same BPMS. After a while he just intro/outros or pulls a quick crossfader. If I'm not totally just making up lies, then h...

One tip that might help is too watch out for the high EQs. Some tracks when mixed together will cause lots of spray or hiss. This can happen even when you mix both high EQ's at 50%/50%. Of course, this depends upon the tracks. The most typical and basic EQ progression, in DarkPsy, tends to be: Step ...
