A few days ago I googled my artist name just to see what comes up and discovered this:

1. 01-Ocajian - Biotic Machinery (7:07)
2. 02-Gloomy Phantom - Bone Eater (6:57)
3. 03-Mandari - Inner Earth Calling (8:45)
4. 04-Plasma Force - Terror Warp (7:30)
5. 05-Ocajian - The Walk (6:47)
6. 06-Lordy - Special Report (RateL Rmx) (7:29)
7. 07-Detox - No More Going Back (7:27)
8. 08-Mandari - Elastic Plastic (7:21)
9. 09-Ectogasmics - Bottlewash (6:40)
10. 10-Ocajian - Discordia (7:14)
11. 11-Infernokse - Intoxication (7:29)
12. 12-RateL - 2012 (6:08 ) ... .part1.rar ... .part2.rar

I don't really know what to think of this....3 of my tracks are on the album and no one contacted me to let me know....Some of the tracks on this album are awesome! Some are crap....Some are mastered, some aren't...

The interwebs never fails to surprise :)

PS: If anyone on Triplag knows who released this album or if any of you are on this album please get hold of me so we can try figure out who released this. My tracks were all free releases so I don't mind really...

they show absolutely no respect to the artists

I guess it is exposure BUT what they did is wrong and illegal and my tracks on this album were 128kbps demo's that haven't even been mastered.....In fact the levels on this album are all over the place which is a shame because a lot of the tracks are excellent and this album could have been great!...

it's your own misstake, guys.. ;)

its only a track collection of some unreleased demo stuff..
like many other unofficial collections/various/releases on the web.

if you post your full length tracks as demo/promo into some differnt forums you have to recon with these things..

sure, its shit but now its happend and it doesn't matter who has collected these tracks for a unofficial VA.

if you don't want things like this, don't post your full length tracks in high kbps in any forums.. ^^ :drinks

This is one of the reasons I stopped posting tracks on forums. Only send them to labels and promoters if you don't want them to get in such things.

I think there are only posting a few tracks, not the best tracks. I noticed that a user called "mystic" is what put this type of FAKE compilations :---) , not blame, but me and I spend something like 2 tracks with mine.

I do not think there are many problems just by ask a track

just ask

holy shit! i wasn't expecting a track of mine to be on here xD jeez, thanks :blush

pirating is wrong indeed. its not like none of us have done it though, right?

certain software, apps, movies and music etc

i personally think that this Terror Warp track is definatley not the best but, it was freely released.

hmm, i think what i am trying to say is don't do it!

I see that i am on there as well
I will take it as a compliment that somebody thinks my music good enough for a V.A release.

No it is not ok that it happend but it already happend and i dont think that there is a not lot we can do about it ,it is a good lesson.

I dont mind that somebody wants to make a compilation of some music but just ask, i posted a good mp3 but would rather have seen that the original wave was used ,if my music is out there i would like it to sound at his best.

I personely dont know where to send my music to to get it on a good net-release were the track is properly masterd before being put on the internet.
A little exposure is always good

So zero or any one who has got some tips for this ?????

Network, network and more networking. Get to know as many people in the scene as possible, chat to all to all the other artists in your community. Get your name and music out there.

I have seen releases like this done for quite some time now, its really sad they dont work together with the artists !!

So i would say; Nuke the fake releases.

Yeah all they have to do is ask! I'm sure many of the guys oh the VA would have agreed to having a track released...

yep, a really strange way of doing things.. I think they dont care, they just want some unreleased compilations to upload (the fake releases they make)...
