Dark psytrance doesn't mean high bpm.

And low bpm doesn't mean progressive. ;)

Man, we were just arguing about that this morning. :Rolf
Some of the new stuff coming out on the progressive side of psy is way too much of the naked chick with a car kind of vibe.

I really don't know where the line between the progressive sounds and the full on or traditional goa style stuff is. All the different sub genres and tags confuses the hell out of me.

I have Multiverse Theories, and it for sure has a more proggy vibe, but it is dark and brooding too.

A lot of the proggy stuff I have heard recently has a choppy beat and basslines and some of that kind of broken funky breaks sound, but I'm not all that sure if that is the overall trend or just some of the new CDs I have heard.
