I just made a bass video about making a bass with a nice free plugin called FreeAlpha by Linplug and sampling it with Kontakt! It's fun... I think...
Man, the audio encoding over at youtube is really depressingly bad. I swear it will sound better when you do it at home!

How's it going? I had been meaning to make a video about Surge (by Vember Audio) for a little bit because I really like it, and I think it's great, so I made one while visiting my grandparents for the recent holiday extravaganza. Unfortunately, it came out a little bit Blair-Wicthy, and I was all nervous and weirded out during it, so it's not the best. My brother got a laugh out of it though, and there are a few cool sounds that came out of the session, so I thought I would share it anyway...
When I got back to Buffalo, I made a better, more concise video and then made another in which I refined and contextualized the basic sound made in the first video. The instrument I made in the refinement video was inspired by a sounds that Dave (other Tomato/Kabayun) made, and his solo album is coming soon from 2to6 Records.
Anyway, here is the better introductory video covering LFO assignment and some other stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSJ9cpLKJoA
Here is the refinement and contextualization video (the one in which a Trance N Bass track is born): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNYv2xocwqc
And here is the Blair Synth Project(now available in SpooOoOooOky Vision): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVi0L0ud5Sc
First Post is updated as well. Hope you enjoy!

I'm glad they were (a little) helpful! I'm still exploring Surge, and I'll make some more videos when I learn some other cool tricks!
