Producing with logic?

hej guys,
i started to produce kind of dark-psy with logic 9 express. but there is one BIG problem. the bassline. leads, parcussiond and so far are great.
the standart synths are good, but very difficult for dark-psy. and the fat feeling like in cubase when playing without mastering isn`t there.
another problem are the audio unit plugins... it`s very expensive to buy every plugin i used on cubase because im a student, and much of them don`t exist on audio unit so...

here is a track (.wav)i made for practicing with logic:

and here is another one, track preview from my project with a friend, made in cubase 5, i tried to make a bassline like here, made with z3ta+, but it didn`t work better:

is there any other producer using logic or someone who can help?

There are videos called: Ask

they are avaiable for cubase, nuendo etc, they should be avaiable for logic.. check them out.. and read the manual.. I know everybody is lazy but you wont regret you've done it..

and keep using cubase meanwhile hahaha...

you'll never get the same sound...software is different, the sound engine is different...

...what you can do is to adapt to the logic method and create a brand new sound there.
