Suggest Sidechain VST
Can anyone suggest a good sidechain vst? Cuz it seems the ones I'm using aren't that compatible with win 7 64 bit.
I've used db audioware sidechain compressor in the past, but it gets bugged after a while and the sidechain gets automatically too hard.
I recently tried twistedlemon sidekick 4 and liked it a lot, but it's not very compatible with 64 bit systems and crashes a lot and the sidechain gets bugged like db audioware sidechainer, but even worse.
Only requirement for the sidechain vst is to work on win 7 64 bit.

idk if you got my reply on Isra, this is essentially teh same;
Voxengo Crunchessor Ive heard nothing but good things about
Also MFreeBundle, Melda Productions, the compressor in that pack might be useful, regardless Melda plgus are some of my favorite freeware
Im looking for the same thing, abotu to try MCompressor

Go with what works; Crunchessor, in Ableton and Reaper, doesn't work.
I guess Ableton's routing settings make sidechaining difficult...
Darnit I just realized I haven't tried the MCompressor in Reaper x64 yet...
Im familiar with neither sidechaining nor 64 bit DAWs, only recently have I found sidechaining necessary, only recently acquired an x64-Intel i5 Lenovo lappy, so now all these things that used to be 'someday when I have the hardware' are possible...
And Im waiting with big bells on for Live 64 bit version (hopefully they bring the old warp system back, but surprisingly Ive gotten used to 8 despite the warp system smoking all sorts of crack all the time)

I give up dj on ableton during a year and i didn´t try warping on 8 till now, and i really like it, although i´ve had to learnt again.It´s smarter i guess, in a logic sense (how it puts the track into time) and in the way they do default warping.Perhaps you must be more careful becouse you can destroy sound even more.But i like it...
