Dark Psy in South Africa
Hey guys I have been wondering lately...
How many of the Producers/DJ's/Artists on Triplag would be interested to play at a party in SA.
I am absolutely starved of the true full power shamanic psy that many of you on here create and perform so perfectly. I know for a fact there is a couple of us in South Africa that would love some more real psytrance and many of us are sick of the current fluff being played at the parties.
So just as a matter of interest. Who would like to play or who would be interested in playing in my beautiful country?

Having lived in JHB in South Africa till 2005, and playing at a few Lunartech parties, i remember them days, there are a few freaks who do like this sound, have you spoken to Royston @ Black feet prod? also check out Free Radical records, they bring out noise poison recs to SA once a year or so.
I remember a few parties leaning towards the darker psy that we all love, and they got sum very mixed reactions.
Personaly i believe that there is not enough of a following of darkpsy to warrant spending loads of Rands to bring artists all the way to SA. Maybe im wrong(hope so
)
This said id love to spin darkpsy sumwhere outside Joburg, some realy amazing locations, big blue sky's, large open spaces, hmmmm.
Any way, all the best to my South african 'Chinas', hope you come right in your journey brew.

Man I started a topic and forgot to reply! How rude!
Since starting this topic a lot has changed in Jhb. Full Power Night music is pretty much the only style played from 12am - 12pm and we have lots of artists producing in this style. (See the Highveld Bohemians Compilation in the free releases section)
I'm still recovering from Noisy Radicles this past weekend and Highcosmos and Kashyyk are playing in Cape Town next week.

In all fairness, good on JHB crew, seems like alot has changed since Lunartech days.
Send my regards to all in JHB.
