Hi, I have got a new track on which I have been working for nearly one month ,I haven't completed it yet,though.Critics are welcome.It will be 7:00 mins or something.Here is the link

nice sounds in it, had only listen on my laptop speakers so far. sounds peakin sometimes, but will have a listen on monitors later....

I know that there are some peaking problems,yet I am gonna have someone sort it out after mixing finishes.In mastering process no peaks left, I hope...

my few cents mate:

try to avoid clipping peaks during the mixing/recording process. a recorded peak is hard to mask while mastering even if the mixdown is set down to a special level the engineer choosed. sure it is possible if it´s not clippin all time, but keep in mind that you´re dealing with the quality of your sonic material with any process you have to do during the mastering stage. if the signal was clipping one time and you dont level it down/avoid clipping, it will still clip when you raise the volume during the mastering the engineer can only try to fix it, no way to solve it ;)

maybe you already knew that and i got you wrong =D but it´s very important that the recording/mix is free of any clipping signal and as clear as possible. no way to fix the mix during the mastering process....

anyway some believe soft clipping is ok as long the master bus is not clipping. but imo there are better ways to achieve distorted sound without lack of quality if needed. but think it´s not the case here =D
