Plasma Force - Dark Promo 2010 Free Download

Post by Plasma Force » Sun Apr 18, 2010 8:17 pm

Hello Psyfreaks and Artists,

I have decided to put together a promotional release of many of the better tracks "in my opinion" i have created and share it webwide :D the cover may look a bit amature, but it has been a while since i was in art class :P
I tried to get a handle on it psychedelically somehow.

Track list is as follows:

1. Emperialoid
2. Dark Power
3. State of Lucidity
4. Babbling Drunkies
5. Leaking Evil
6. Satan's Mother
7. Hellspawn
8. Emergenpsy
9. Ethnotrancer

If you like what you hear, i would appreciate if you would let me know your thoughts and / feelings on it.

Many of them have been chosen from tracks i have put here:

Hope you enjoy the trip!

Peace

You have some interesting ideas, but you have to start using EQ, there is so much distortion and sounds eating up each other that I hardy could hear what you tried to originally do. And don't use so much claps. Also try to make the story of the sounds go from the beginning to the end, most of the tracks feel somewhat empty, with just a sound from here to there. Don't be afraid to use more and lighter atmospheres - just because people call our sound 'dark' doesn't mean we need to listen to them and make it dark. Try adding lead sounds or fx, I didn't hear none in the tracks.

I like mostly the last track, ethnotrancer, very nice chill! But try not to repeat the saw pad so much..

hey Zeroblade :D

thanks for the tips bro

i know i am still quite new to the quality mastering and EQing, still trying to figure it out though =)

Been trying so many different things it gets a bit chaotic, it does show.

I shall continue to perfect future tracks

thanks :blush

Try the Voxengo Gliss EQ 3, it will explain itself. :) And I'll try to write a small tutorial on eq-ing when I get the time.

Cheers
