phuk YEAH!!!!! :cheers 8)

English tourist standing outside a club reacting to the dark psy
"Good god man, what is that horrible sound?"
DJ Micah, replying to gent with a huge smile
"What's 'orrible to you is 'eaven to me, mate!"

This was an actual conversation earlier tonight as I played this in the patio bar for a few of the psy freaks while we were chilling out.

I was bored on a Monday, and this gave us a few good laughs as we watched the people on the street walk by.

GREAT MIX! made my ears bleed!

Thank you for playing my stuff, yet I cannot understand how anybody could listen to this at home and enjoy it nor can I picture this working out well on the dancefloor due to the high BPMs featured. In my humble opinion, this super-high BPM pace feels more like a pretentious psychedelic youthful revolt rather than a serious attempt to transform the dancefloor into something out of this world.

I guess someone had to say it.

If you are really serious about this high-pitched music and believe this is the way it should be done - fine - listen to your heart and follow its path. Just let me know about your decision before I make up my mind about attending a party of yours, so I can stay at home and get drunk while listening to RATM and thus have my dosage of revolt attitude. :cheers

hehehe yea Kiri,

this high BPM looks like a hottest trend on Triplag right now hehehehe With easy blessing of our lady Ganika people are eager to push the BPM.
yea it is for fun and that kinda revolt we all happy to do in home surroundinsgs, with close friends having a laugh  and a smoke :cs and a beer :drink: ...
Yes if this gonna be put on a test on dance floor you definately need a loyal supporters who will come just for this speed. It is gonna look weird 200-300 BMP and people slowly dancing and noding the heads. Definately some ritual is going on hehehehe

if producers ever gonna catch up with DJ/public demand for high BMP I think production of the track should be diffirent. Combine crushing beats and more quieter "breaks". Something like OSOM is doing. But main idea is that track has to be designed for high BMP not pitched.
Software and hardware may allow it but the track structure is not.

Oh well, I probably gonna fall for this treand and try to do high BPM mix as well... ;)

I agree this style is not for the dancefloor..it is definitely for laughs and around the house or maybe 1 track at the end of a set at the last dark set of the night when the sun is up to end out the madness!!!

Don't listen to it in the car...you'll get a ticket. hehe

The dancefloor is for transformation of the mind... :roll :roll :roll :roll :roll :roll :roll

Hehe, don't worry Kiri, I ain't never gonna do such a thing on a dancefloor, this is the result of the lack of sleep I've been having lately and my drivel :P ...and maybe I was anxious to see why people say that it's easier to mix fast music :P This is in no way made for the dancefloor, and I, in my liking to fast music, just wanted to see what it's like. I, actually, don't like it after 185-190bmp, I guess that's the speed I feel is the end of what I call melodic :P

P.s. 185-190 is just for listening :P
P.s.2. I, also, don't like the last part of the set, to pitch such tracks so much is just noncence, they're braincrushing as they are. ;)

I still like it, and I have listened three times.

It does have some glitches, but the effort to get the bpm up was pretty solid, and I think it was more in the fun and hey that's f@#king weird mode, than anything I would try to dance too.

It blows my mind that Zero can even get it too sound listenable with that kind of push to the speed.

It's a novelty, and as such it will not please all that hear it. I still have a time getting all the way through it, because it makes my brain throb, literally!

It's fun for kicks and sicks as my bro Colin said.
Reminds me of the first time I heard some glitchcore/gabber set that was around 225-250bpm. I just didn't know what to think of it.

Zero, I still like it, and it made my mates go nutters.

I tried a set from 170-300 and seriously fucked it up after the for real 223bpm Far East Ghost track. I found out that pitching it ends up slapping you in the head if the beats are already hard and faast.

I will stay with what I know and leave it to the ones who have more experience and patience.
