Faxi Nadu
Faxi Nadu is Yaron Eshkar, born 1983 and living in Israel. Producing music since 2001.
Faxi Nadu music features hard and kicking psytrance/techno with a dark and sinister twist. Groovy horror tunes with a heavy dose of soundscapes, psychedelic effects, paranoid screams and groans - suitable for partying on the dance floor. Influenced by the b-movie culture and the horror and science fiction cultures - presenting a unique approach to dark psytrance. Groovy, pounding dark night-time trance music, as well as tracks with more than an ounce of good humor and "morning" melodica. At times mad and twisted, at times constructed and
progressive, while always very psychedelic and atmospheric. Obvious Dark, Prog, Goa, Techno and Suomisaundi influences, with a distinct, personal feel - Faxi Nadu is sure to send your head bobbing, your feet moving, and put a big halloween pumpkin smile on your face.
Faxi Nadu produces various forms of music and is involved in a number of projects including D-Fault (experimental/IDM), CW Sluts (trance/techno), Cider Groove (IDM/ glitch) and Elmooht (ambient/experimental). Faxi also runs the netlabel Postunder Records, a non genre based electronic music label.
Faxi Nadu has been active on the internet for the past few years. A number of Faxi Nadu releases and side projects can be found on the net through various outlets and netlabels.
Sectio Aurea
Sectio Aurea is a project born between the interest of math, nature, symbols and of course music!
Behind this project there is Marina (dj Strix) born in Serbia in 1982 & Christian
(dj S-Mutans) born in Italy in 1976.
Based now in south of Switzerland where in the alps they found a place where “The sane meet the Insane” to make psycho music as they like.
Marina has been playing classical guitar since she was really young and after exploring all kind of music she got into psychedelic trance in 1998.She plays also chill out/dark ambient sets as Dj
Strix.
Christian aka Dj S-Mutans discovered psychedelic trance in 1999. He has been a dj for several years and his style has varied during the course of the past few years. Now he is playing the underground sounds since long time.
After their meeting in 2003 they started to produce fast, hypnotic n arithmetic psychedelic tunes.
Malice in Wonderland
Alfredo (25), Oliver (28) & Thomas (26) have been working on their own music since 2003 but the "Malice in Wonderland"
project was founded in 2005.
3 different guys and their major musical backgrounds (funk, black/death-metal,
idm/ambient) find their way into psychedelic sound.
Their studio, "The Malice Lab" is based in Innsbruck/Austria.
After some years of collecting experience as dj´s they started to create music with the need to express their feelings
towards the "wonderland" we all live in, trying to create musical mind-trips carried by malicious beats in territories that
are shady as well as fair..
The pandemonium of their experiences is reflected in their music...
Silent Horror
Jigar's a dark psy producer based in Pune, India. Major influences comes from horror movies and gothic black metal.
Jigar is a marine engineer by profession and has managed to dedicate most of his time to make music for people to freak out on.
DarkOhm
DarkOhm is, Savina Scattaglia and Daniel Gonzalez from Venezuela.
By the late nineties they started performing live act with hardware
synths, since then, they haven?t stopped working, investigating and experimenting while a distinctive sound rose, filled with pure dark psychedelic trance. Atmospheric journeys charged with live synths and samplers, pounding drums and twisted voices form a dense powerful improvisation.
The live act has performed all around Venezuela and several parties in Colombia, also they perform at open air parties with the local crew Psykomunity
(Biosampler's Audio lab, Nostrom-US, Bioluminicense), becoming the landmark of the dark made in Venezuela.
Somarobotics
Somarobotics is a psychedelic trance producer and live
act performer from Venezuela. Jorge Romero (26)
became involved with music more than twelve years ago,
when he started playing the guitar. He comes from a
different background, recording heavy metal albums and
touring with his band "Torre de Marfil"
for more than eight years now.
He discovered psychedelic trance in 1999,
through artists like Hallucinogen and Darshan Spectra.
Later on, he started producing dark downtempo music
with sequencers and synths, playing live acts in chill
out parties and indoor venues in Caracas. By late 2004
he started producing psychedelic trance, not without
taking advantage of his musical background...
.....his music is inspired on science fiction
stories, filled with hypnotic melodies that make their
way through pounding bass lines and dark atmospheric
backgrounds. Somarobotics live act is filled with
energy-flowing knob movements and beat improvisations,
that make it a really different experience in every
performance.
Be sure to check out this new artist from Venezuela on
his 2nd officialy released track on Triplag VA!
eniChkin
eniChkin Project was launched in spring 2004 by Sergei Nazarenko (born 25th of June 1986, Russia).
The word enichkin has pretty long history and it basically means a mix of animal and kindness.
For a long time Sergei was a big fan of Jimi Hendrix and since that time the main thing in eniChkin project's tracks is Experience.
In general eniChkin project isn't producing pure psychedelic trance, but more a mix of different music styles with a dark psychedelic root.
Chemical Reaction:
Evan aka Chemical Reaction from Colorado U.S.A. He have been a Psytrance junkie for many years, and started producing using Reason, maded the move to Cubase and the rest is history. haha
Noisy Pipes
Sandy Klaus, a weird name, clearly inspired by the universe of Tim Burton (The Nightmare before Christmas, that movie where Santa Claus had been renamed Sandy Claws by the freaks of Halloween town).
First a rock music lover, drummer, guitar player and composer in a few bands, Nicolas
Zappa, early started his psychedelic music classes via the classics of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix and many others like Frank Zappa (not relative). Then one day, the dark side took him to the abysses of gothic music from Joy division to Nine Inch Nails obviously swinging by the electro industrial side of Laibach and the EBM current led by Front 242. That's how this little nice boy was corrupt by the devil of electronic music. But in 2002, his best friend took him in his first rave party to make him discover a music and an atmosphere: psychedelic trance. Then, the machine was launched. Slowly but surely, curiosity working, he began to get interest into
Djing. From spring 2004, he started to play at little parties using the nickname Sandy Klaus, and then, he began to be play in bigger events with artists like
Triskell, Digital talk, Silicon sound, Jaia, Little Pumpkin,
Kaa, Guet.. .
May 2005, he starts his own psychedelic night time project called Noisy pipes, this is a new beginning. His first release will be a collaboration with Little Pumpkin called DTC on the swiss label Peak records.
Besides his artistic activities, from september 2004 to June 2006, Sandy Klaus was hosting a radio show with Guet called Trance Vallee Express on Vallee FM
(french radio station on the east side of Paris) as announcer and DJ.
Favorite style: Psyche, dark, mental.
Favorite producers: Digital talk, NRS, Phatmatix,
Triskell, Deviant species, GOW, Absolum and many others.
